About Smiles for Special Needs

Welcome to Smiles For Special Needs — a family-owned and operated organization proudly serving individuals with disabilities for over 14 years. We are dedicated to creating a caring, supportive, and uplifting environment where children and adults can grow, learn, and thrive.

Our Day Treatment and Training programs (DTA/DTT) for both children and adults are designed to promote independence, confidence, social development, communication, and everyday life skills through engaging therapeutic activities, community involvement, creative enrichment, and individualized support. We strive to help every participant build meaningful connections, reach personal goals, and enjoy a positive and inclusive experience each day.

In addition to our day programs, we proudly offer work program opportunities that provide hands-on vocational experience, job readiness training, responsibility, and meaningful skill development. Our work programs help individuals gain confidence, develop independence, and experience the pride that comes from meaningful work and community involvement.

At Smiles For Special Needs, our mission is to provide compassionate, person-centered care and meaningful opportunities for children and adults with disabilities through quality day programs, HCBS services, work programs, and on-site therapies. As a family-owned and operated organization serving the community for over 14 years, we are committed to promoting independence, confidence, inclusion, life skills, and personal growth in a safe, supportive, and uplifting environment where every individual is empowered to reach their fullest potential.

Activities, Enrichment & Volunteerism

At Smiles For Special Needs, we provide fun and meaningful activities that encourage learning, independence, creativity, and social growth for children and adults. Participants enjoy arts and crafts, fitness, life skills, community outings, and hands-on enrichment activities in a supportive environment.

We also encourage volunteerism and community involvement to help build confidence, responsibility, and a sense of purpose while promoting inclusion and meaningful connections.

Board of Directors

Smiles for Special Needs is governed by a Board of Directors made up of staff and parents of children from Smiles for Special Needs, as well as community leaders with specialized skills.
