Smiles For Special Needs, and Smiles Learning Center
Our company provides support and services to adults and children with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. Our goal is to assist each individual in reaching their personal goals with respect and dignity. Whether it’s learning daily living skills, making friends and meaningful relationships, or navigating within a community, we are committed to enhancing each individuals’ skills and abilities towards greater independence.
Services We Provide
In-home supports, community supports, and therapeutic services.
Group Supported Employment
Group supported employment provides entry-level employment opportunities for individuals who the State and Medicare have approved. This program is designed to teach basic on the job training such as learning to work with others, and following directions. Individuals learn how to complete the necessary paperwork required to be paid. Each client is paid minimum wage and works about 10 hours per week. Transportation is provided for individuals participating in this program.
