I am a dedicated occupational therapy practitioner with six years of clinical experience, working with both pediatric and adult populations across a variety of settings. For the past three years, I have been part of the team at Smiles for Special Needs, where I continue to support children and families through individualized, functional care. My areas of specialization include sensory integration, sensory modulation, and feeding therapy.
My approach is rooted in connection, clinical reasoning, and real-life function. I believe therapy should feel purposeful and empowering—not just for the individual, but for the entire support system. Whether working with children or adults, I focus on building skills that directly translate to greater independence and participation in everyday life. I collaborate closely with caregivers, families, and interdisciplinary teams to develop practical strategies that extend beyond the therapy session.
Prior to my current role, I served in a leadership position within vocational rehabilitation, where I developed a deeper understanding of long-term independence and life transitions. That perspective continues to shape how I approach therapy today—always looking ahead and helping my clients build the skills they need for sustained success.
I am especially passionate about supporting sensory processing needs, feeding challenges, and foundational skills that impact self-care, regulation, and daily functioning. My goal is to meet each individual where they are while helping them—and those supporting them—feel confident, capable, and equipped.
Outside of work, I am a wife and a proud mom to two daughters who keep life busy, loud, and full in the best way. My family and I love being outdoors—camping, off-roading, and hiking whenever we can—but I also appreciate slowing down and recharging at a good resort. I value balance, connection, and making the most out of both the everyday moments and the adventures.
